Dr. Manish Aghi is a neurosurgeon who specializes in operating on brain tumors, including pituitary adenomas. He has particular expertise in performing endoscopic endonasal surgery for pituitary and skull base lesions. Dr. Aghi earned a medical degree and a doctoral degree in neurosciences from Harvard Medical School and completed his neurosurgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Aghi leads a large nationwide clinical reserach team that has published several dozen award winning publications on the resection of pituitary tumors and tumors of the anterior skull base through an endoscopic endonasal approach, and has led a Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) task force to formulate national guidelines for the neurosurgical management of pituitary tumors.
